Greek festival!

The Kalamazoo middle eastern school of dance performers were amazing! So beautiful!

I want to say that the kids had a great time at the Kalamazoo Greek Fest but that might be an exaggeration. :) They did have some interesting experiences, some fabulously different food, rain soaked clothes, and some very loud music. And what is it with festivals and smokers?...I think the people in our family were the only people there not smoking. :) Pet peeve of mine.

Spinach pie, Greek salad, wrapped grape leaves, & Hummus!

Kataifi ~ layers of fine pastry hair with an inside of almond goo.

A wet Coyote.

I am SO JEALOUS! I wish I could have been there---I wish I could have been dancing!! Unfortunately, not this year. Gotta work, right? No time for classes :(

Hate smokers! ICK!

I'm glad the kids got to experience Greek Fest!

Megan ~ I would have LOVED to see you up on stage!! Ahh well, perhaps another time!

Mmm, I don't see an email in your profile? (Unless I am missing it: totally possible). I do have a new one, but I don't include mine on my blog ... Oh! But I moderate all comments, so you could come leave one, and then I'd delete it without publishing if you'd prefer to keep the comment private (just make a note of that in what you write, okay?).

sounds like fun! I love greek food and belly dancing is just so catchy! I can't believe everyone was smoking! Down here its a rarity these days! Hardly anyone smokes anymore!
