Silver Leaf! My family and I vended at the
Silver Leaf Renaissance Faire again this year and the picture above is of my favorite patron. A beautifully voluptuous woman in a bridal gown with a sign that read; "Taking Applications for Husband, Must have Own Kingdom". I love her!!!!
We had a wonderful time. It was beautiful, sweaty, difficult, interesting, exciting, and stressful. And all of it was in our minds. What a trip! I so highly recommend involving children in the affairs of the world. The kids had a fascinating experience where they learned once again, about the exchange of money and the myriad of stories that play out from that.
I sold beautiful silk skirts this year, and I so loved seeing them blow in the breeze. I had envisioned these colorful skirts waving their silky threads in a warm summer breeze while women snatched them up...and that is indeed what manifested. I will be selling these soon on my new retail site at
The Untamed Mare. I'm so excited!
