things not found in an elementary school

The children decided they would like to practice writing yesterday, so I used a nifty little site that lets you create words and sentences for tracing and printing. Far be it from me to actually write these things out myself. I love this little program and asked the children what sentences they would like to input into the worksheet maker. This is what they practiced:

*Maverick has stinky farts.
*Stop hurting me Tate.
*My butt hole is pretty. (a particularly challenging one as I wasn't sure if butt hole was one word or two)
*Amulet is the dolly mustard. (referring to her newborn poops that looked like mustard)
*Tate has squirrel hair.
*I do not like chores.
*I am a princess.

I'm in agreement with the kids in that these are extremely important things to know how to write. :)

Too funny Greenlee! My oldest, Hunter, likes to write things like "Hunter rules!" or "Hunter rocks!" I'll find them in random places--like my grocery list. :)

That's great!! Kids will definitely use those phrases much more than, "See Jack run..."

Jen, that is hilarious! I used to find the word, "Tate" written on all sorts of things....desks, walls, the PIANO..in sharpy marker! I had to think: I'll love this when I'm 90. :)

Megan ~ it's true, isn't it!

Heather ~ there's a built in link in the green words 'nifty site'...it's really a fun program!

And that is SO sweet about your darling daughter. I appreciate that so much...I'm so glad she liked it and I will so love visualizing her wearing it during her moon time. Thank you so much... (((Hugs)))

lol, when I was a kid, I would have gotten in trouble for some of those. (They tell you what sentences to write anyway, I think)

stinky farts come from a good diet of green, crunchy goodness!

Yes I can see why! One must learn the essentials to get through life with siblings! Much more interesting phrases than you would get in a book! Well done!
