The marching band! The kids loved seeing them! Too bad mom didn't notice the impending clouds moving in! We soon were pelted with torrents of rain and lightening! We had a wonderful time anyway, and the kids are still talking about the game and the naked buns!

Thank you Amanda! You went to Western?! That's great! This football game was my first real view of the campus, although my oldest daughter is thinking of finishing up her degree there. From the small amount I saw, the campus looked very nice.
Seeing all the students at the game sure made me realize just how old I am! LOL! :)
For some reason this post leaves me feeling bemused. I live in a college football town, and am working on my BA at the university -- at 40! Am so not into football LOL I grew up just a couple of blocks away from the stadium, so my anti-bias is deeply rooted! lol

Beth, I know it! I grew up in a college town too, and I can count on one hand the number of games I attended.
It's funny - I took them there to expose them to that world, and they had the most interesting comments. We ended up discussing everything *but* football.
Another thing - I realized just exactly how old I truly am. 42 just isn't 22. LOL!
